PERSONAL BIOGRAPHY Characteristics

Rivadi is generally shy and reserved - a part of her natural personality compounded by the years she spent in captivity.

Rivadi has never fully disclosed what she endured during her captivity, but at least part of her hardship involved rape and emotional abuse at the hands of her Klingon and Orion captors. The result of those experiences have left personal relationships difficult for her, though she has developed a strong, but singular attraction to Corpsman Kalevah Dinaa.

Family, Educational and Professional History

Rivadi was taken from her home and family at an early age, far younger than most other Daliwakan living in New Darwin Colony. That, along with mental repression induced by the horrors of her captivity have left her with little detailed information about her past. She is for the most part untrained, but she tries to contribute to the community as best she can, learning simple skills as an aprentice working in the civilian dining hall and delivering meals across the colony.

Personal History

It is unknown when exactly she was taken from her home on Daliwaka, or how long she spent in captivity. In early 2158, she was rescued along with several dozen other slaves from a former Klingon mining camp on the fourth moon of GS-VI. Though the Klingons had abandoned the moon several years earlier during the Daliwakan revolt and Starfleet liberation of the Gamma Saggittari system, the Klingons successfully sealed her mine in their retreat, leaving the prisoners for dead. Starfleet was unfortunately unable to locate them during the rescue. The trapped prisoners struggled to survive, only to be discovered by Orion slavers who managed to slip into the system undetected during the period of rebuilding following the liberation.
