Vemoori is extremely shy, even for Dali standards enduring long years of captivity. Since their freedom from the Klingons, she has generally shied away from others, performing her assigned duties as a mining engineer with quiet professionalism.

Like most Dali women, Vemoori endured years of physical and emotional abuse at the hands of the Klingons, to include multiple rapes and two failed pregnancies. At times, she has attempted to begin friendships with others, but many times they failed due to her unpredictable emotional behavior. Many years of professional counseling lie ahead for her.

Family, Educational and Professional History

Vemoori was taken from her family very early in her life, and has no substantive memory of them. Demonstrating well above average intelligence, she was trained to be a mining engineer on three separate Klingon industrial projects. She has had little in the way of formal education. After the Klingon occupation came to an end, she continued her duties for the Dali mining concern on Oomah Lootmah.

Personal History

Vemoori was taken from her planet very early in her life, possibly to indoctrinate her in the life of a slave. Lacking a conventional upbringing, she has portrayed a distinctive 'stunting' of her non-physical development. Mostly keeping to herself, her proximity to her Klingon masters has left her emotionally scarred. When the occupation ended, her inability to have conventional relationships led her to the colony development officer, Sergei Kovalenko. Lacking a father in her life, her emotions quickly led her to transform him from authority figure to lover. The couple endured weeks of abuse at the hands of the mysterious Adan'vaca, both suffering the removal of portions of their reproductive systems. Due to years of sexual abuse, it is questionable that Vemoori will ever be capable of having children. A substitute may be revealed in the form of the Adan'vaca-created Rud'iskren, a genetic female created from the DNA of Vemoori and Kovalenko.
