Hiro was born in San Francisco on May 4, 2134. As a child he was a prankster, a troublemaker, and a lover of video games and comic books. Some say he has not changed much since.

Family, Educational and Professional History

Hiro's father is a succesful businessman in San Francisco. His mother is a lawyer. Much to their disappointment, Hiro never succeeded in school. Feeling the constant pressure from his parents to make a success of himself, he decided to join Starfleet in an effort to get away from home. He enlisted as a crewman in 2154 and was assigned to the ESS Apollo SCL-09 after graduation in 2156. He saw action with the ship during the liberation of Gamma Sagittarii where he earned a promotion to Corpsman 3rd class. After the invasion, he requested transfer to New Darwin where he has been staioned since.

Personal History

While still lighthearted, unambitious, and quick to make a joke, the events of the Gamma Sagittarii liberation and Daliwakan revolt deeply affected Hito. He developed a great admiration and sympathy for the Daliwakan people. It was the motivation to help their recovery, in anyway he could, that led him to request transfer to the newly founded colony. Through his work there, he developed a great friendship with Kalevah Dinaa, which still lasts to this day.
